Mryna is a 34-year-old married mom of four kids, who tries her best to earn on her own. Mryna lives in Biasong, Lopez Jaena, and helps her family through a clay pot making business. For five years, she's managed this pottery business and earns about 5,000 Philippine Pesos (PHP) per month.
Currently she needs to buy more clay to be used in her business. She joined recently and thanks to GDMPC microfinance for the loan of 5,000 PHP they provided to her. Mryna hopes to improve her business in the future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
