Sayda is 30 years old and has lived together with her partner Sabino for more than 15 years and has three dependent children who are studying in school. They live in a rural community called Huancuni in the northern part of Colomi. Sayda works in the field of agriculture and makes a living through the sales of potatoes, broad beans, and other traditional tubers, called oca and papaliza in order to provide for her children.

Sayda needs this loan because she wants to do the finish work on her house in Sacaba, which they started building recently and never finished because they had invested all of their savings in the major construction, and also because in other financial institutions they ask for a lot of collateral to get a loan, and she also says that her husband traveled to go work in another country (Argentina) until the end of they year, since they have had many expenses lately and this will allow them to keep their children in school.
