Halima is 46 years old and the mother of a son and two daughters. She lives with her mother-in-law and her children in their home, located in the rural areas of Tiribe.
Halima has worked for over six years tending her kiosk where she attends to a number of customers in her community. She also owns a motorcycle taxi which she says has been a profitable project, since this is a common means of transportation in her rural home.
Halima is asking for this loan to purchase another motor bike to expand her business. She is very happy to continue working with Yehu and Kiva because of the help they have given her business and because her living conditions are improving.
Her dream is to have several businesses so as to earn more income.
