Nino is 33 years old. She is married and lives in a small village of Telavi District with her family: her husband Mikheil and her parents-in-law. The family runs an agricultural business. They have a milking cow and produce yogurt. They sell yogurt on the local open market and in nearby villages usig their own car. Also, they have a vineyard and produce wine. Along with agricultural activities, Nino works as an accountant and gets a service fee for the work. Mikheil is an engineer of medical equipment/techniques and earns additional income for the family. Nino’s mother-in-law is a teacher. She teaches in the village school and gets a monthly salary.
Nino requested a loan to install a gas tank in the family car. This will decrease the cost of transportation and will increase the income of the family. With the increased income she will be able to finance the education of her child. As a result of Kiva loan the family will have better living conditions.
