Nanuli is 55 years old. She lives in a small village of Akhmeta District with her husband – Eldar. They earn their living through agricultural business. In particular, they are busy with farming. They have a vineyard and a plot of land where maize is grown. They work hard on their agricultural land to get good harvests. They sell harvested products on the local open market. They also have a milking cow and 15 beehives with bee colonies. Nanuli and Eldar produce honey and cheese and sell them on the local open market as well. Along with the agricultural business, Eldar works in vine factory and gets a monthly salary. Total average monthly income of the family is 450 Lari.
Nanuli requested a loan for purchasing an additional milk cow. With two milk cows she will be able to produce more cheese. Thus, she wants to expand her business in order to earn a good profit. With increased profits, she will be able to reinvest in her agricultural business, as well as spend more on the family’s daily needs and the living conditions of the family will be improved.
