Fermin
Fermín, age 54, is single because he is a widower. He lives with his daughter in the Taulabe municipality in Comayagua.

Fermín is a farmer, and he produces coffee. He became independent two years ago, and he has his own plots where he grows coffee. He learned how to do this from his parents because it has been a family heritage.

He sells the wet parchment coffee to intermediaries who buy the entire production in the community. This way he avoids having to travel to other placer to make the sale.

He has currently requested a loan for 17,000 lempiras. He will use the loan to buy chemical and natural fertilizers to fertilize his crop. He hopes to obtain a good harvest and take advantage of the attractive price that coffee maintains in the national and international markets.

El señor Fermín tiene 54 años, es soltero por viudez, vive con una hija en el Municipio de Taulabe, Comayagua.
La actividad a que se dedica Don Fermín es la agricultura, específicamente a la siembra y producción de café. Hace 2 años se independizo y cuenta con sus propias parcelas de cultivo de café, los conocimientos lo obtuvo de sus padres ya que ha sido el patrimonio familiar. La comercialización del café la realiza en pergamino húmedo a personas intermediarias que le compran toda la producción en la comunidad, evitando con esto tener que desplazarse a otros lugares para realizar la venta.
Actualmente ha solicitado un préstamo de 17,000 Lempiras para invertir en la compra de fertilizantes y abonar dicho cultivo. El espera obtener una buena cosecha y aprovechar el atractivo precio que mantiene el café en el mercado nacional e internacional.
