Our member's name is Narciso and he belongs to the communal bank "Los Lideres" in the city of Cusco - Perú. He earns a living in the craft business, mainly with embroidery and frilly elements. He has been in business several years, being able to support his family and give his children an education. Therefore he is requesting a loan to buy fabric, lace and thread for his embroidery production and be able to continue his activity.
Narcisco is very grateful to KIVA for allowing him to stay in this activity and be able to support his family.

Arariwa serves the southern Andean provinces of Peru, and is distinguished by its efforts to reach the very poor, who often live in isolated rural areas. Arariwa fosters village banking, supports savings accounts, promotes access to education, and empowers women entrepreneurs (who make up 78% of its borrowers).
