Mr. Mario F. lives in his own home with his parents on Buenos Aires Avenue in the Tiwiña zone of the city of La Paz. He is a dental technician who set up a small workshop inside his house, where he sees some patients, but he also works with dentists who order dental appliances such as crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.

He is requesting this loan in order to purchase an oxygen tank and other work materials.

He has not previously obtained a loan from our institution, but his credit check approves him to request one.

El señor Mario vive en casa propia con sus padres en la Av. Buenos Aires de la zona de Tiwiña de la ciudad de La Paz; es de profesión mecánico dental, instaló un pequeño taller en su domicilio donde atiende a algunos pacientes pero también trabaja con dentistas que le hacen pedidos como ser prótesis, coronas, placas etc.

El crédito que solicita es para comprar un tubo de oxigeno y material para sus trabajos.

No tiene crédito con nuestra Institución pero el análisis socio económico lo califica para obtener uno.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
