Edwin has been married for several years. He and his wife have one child, who is still too young for school.
He has set up a retail store in his house, which is located in a strategic place in town. He says he started with a little capital that he got from the other job he had done previously as a salaried worker.
He is requesting the loan to buy basic needs products to stock his store. He will buy things like rice, noodles, sugar, and others. He is grateful for the help that he is receiving. It is a great growth opportunity for him.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
