Jose De Las Nieves
José is a 40 year old man who lives in the city of Ica, in the district of Parcona, with his beloved wife and three children. He is a very friendly person, enthusiastic and a hard worker, who dedicates all of his efforts to getting his family ahead. Unfortunately, because of his need to work to pay his expenses starting when he was very young, he could not pursue a professional career, but he would have liked to study the degree of business administration. In his free time he likes to watch educational programs and sometimes he cooks a rich rice with duck to share with his family.

Through his own initiative and thanks to the support of his family, José put in motion his little business selling adobe. Each day, starting very early in the morning, José attends to a small plot of leased land to begin the creation of adobe. He spends approximately 10 hours each day working on his business. He feels comfortable doing his work and believes that it will go well thanks to his hard work and careful attention.

José feels very grateful for the Kiva loans now that, thanks to the help they provide, he will be able to cover the expenses of the rent of his land. He will also be able to buy wood and molds for the creation of adobe. Now, José can count on the tools he needs to improve the development of his business. With them he hopes to increase his sales and increase his economic revenue which he hopes to use to secure the education and well being of his small children whom he dreams of seeing converted into good professionals and great men. In the not so distant future he hopes to have his own house and a brick making factory.
