Carlos Manuel
Carlos is a 37-year-old man who lives with his wife and children in San Rafael de Florencia de San Carlos, in Alajuela province. This rural community presents a lot of opportunities for development through agricultural activities. The area has a hot climate which allows people to grow certain fruits that develop strongly such as mangos, melons and other native fruit. Livestock fattening is another major business in this area.

The town of Florencia is noted for its national parks and its extensive variety of flora and fauna.

Carlos set up a hydroponic greenhouse where he grows lettuce, tomatoes and sweet peppers. He now needs to extend it over a larger area and buy seeds, chemicals, sand, plastic irrigation pipes, etc. His income is the only one his family has. He has two young children and he would like to continue his university studies. His income depends on this project.

Carlos is requesting 1,000,000 colones to achieve his goal. He belongs to SCSAR community loan company and this will be his first loan. He is very grateful for the opportunities to access loans that this gives him and the fact that he will be able to carry out his projects.

Carlos es un hombre de37 años de edad y vive con su esposa e hijos en la comunidad de San Rafael de Florencia de San Carlos, en la provincia de Alajuela. Esta comunidad rural presenta mucho potencial de desarrollo a través de las actividades agrícolas. La zona posee un clima caliente, lo que permite la producción de ciertas frutas que se desarrollan con más fuerza gracias a este tipo de clima como el mango, el melón y otros propios de la zona, también se destaca actividades tales como el ganado de engorde.
La localidad de Florencia se caracteriza por sus parques nacionales y su extensa variedad en la flora y en la fauna.
Carlos inicio un vivero hidropónico en el cual se produce lechuga, tomate y chile dulce, y ahora necesita extenderse en un área mayor , también comprar semillas, químicos , arena, tubos plásticos para riego , etcétera, Su único ingreso familiar es el suyo, tiene dos hijos pequeños, y él quiere continuar sus estudios universitarios sus ingresos dependen de este proyecto .
El está solicitando el monto de un millón de colones (¢1.000.000) para lograr su meta, él pertenece a la empresa de Crédito Comunal de SCSAR S.A, este será su primer préstamo razón por la cual está muy agradecido, por las oportunidades de acceso al crédito que esta le brinda y poder llevar a cabo sus proyectos .
