Avtandil is 54 years old. He is married and lives in a small village of Zestafoni District with his family: his wife – Khatuna, his parents, who are pensioners and his 19-year-old daughter. Avtandil and Khatuna run an agricultural business. In particular, they have 2 milking cows and produce cheese. Part of the cheese is used by the family members and the rest is sold on the local open market. They own a vineyard as well; they work hard during spring and summer seasons on their plot to get a good harvest. They pick grapes in fall and produce wine, which is sold in nearby villages.
Avtandil requested a loan to construct a greenhouse for vegetables. This will enable him to grow vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers and greens) during the entire year. This will increase the income of the family. With increased income Avtandil and Khatuna will be able to reinvest in the family agricultural business to expand it and make more profitable. Taking into account the above-mentioned, the living conditions of the family will be improved.
