Since then, she is both father and mother to the children. She is a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic woman who puts all of her effort into getting her children ahead. Unfortunately, due to a lack of financial resources, and because she needed to pay her expenses, she was unable to go to college, but she would have liked to study nursing. In her free time, she likes to go with her children to the prettier streets of the city.

On her own intiative, and thanks to her wish to get ahead, a year ago, Rosa opened her own business selling groceries. She works at her business about 12 hours a day and serves an average of 45 customers a day. She likes her job and belives it is going well, since her customers recommend her because of her products, prices and good service.

Rosa is very grateful to the Kiva lenders since thanks to their help she will be able to buy merchandise for her business such as rice, oil, milk, vegetable stews, snacks and more. This way, Rosa will keep her business better stocked and will be able to increase her sales and financial income. In the not so distant future, she will be able to use that income to completely build her house and ensure the future and wellbeing of her little ones.
