Nilton is married and has two children who are of school age. They live at his mother’s house where they occupy two small rooms with adobe walls. The house is located in the District of Las Delicias in the city of La Paz.

Nilton currently works as a chauffeur for more than 10 hours each day. He works into the late hours of the evening so that he can provide for the costs of food, education, and basic services for his family. Nilton, esta casado y tiene dos hijos que están en etapa escolar, viven en casa de su madre ocupando dos habitaciones pequeñas con paredes de adobe, la casa esta ubicada en la zona Las Delicias de la ciudad de La Paz.
Actualmente trabaja como chofer por más de diez horas y hasta altas horas de la noche ya que debe cubrir los gastos de alimentación, educación y pago de servicios básicos de su familia.
El crédito lo requiere para la compra de estuco y pinturas para la refacción del interior de sus habitaciones y arreglo de puertas y ventanas ya que desea dar más seguridad a su familia.
El sueño de Nilton, es mejorar sus ingresos y obtener un anticrético para mejorar su calidad de vida y tener más comodidad.
Es la primera vez que solicita el crédito junto a IMPRO y KIVA.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
