Nestan is 30 years old. She is married and lives in the small village of Khelvachauri District with her family: her husband, Roman, three children (8, 12 and 14 years old), parents-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Her husband is a truck driver, her children study in the village school and her parents-in-law are pensioners. The main activity of the family is an agricultural business. They have 1 hectare of land, where they grow vegetables and fruits. The family has bee-hives with bee colonies too. They produce honey and sell it in nearby villages. They have milking cows and produce dairy food, cheese, cards and yogurt, part of which is used by the family members and the rest is sold locally. Roman has a truck. He takes wood from the forest and sells it in his village and nearby villages. All family members work hard during the days.

Nestan and her family requested a loan to purchase tires for the truck, because they are old and it is already risky to drive in the forest. For this reason, Roman has stopped operations. They will buy new tires. After changing them, Roman will be able to continue transportation and sales of wood. This will increase the income of the family. With increased income they will be able to improve their living conditions.
