Khatuna is 34 years old, married and lives in a small village in the Kobuleti District with her husband Gocha and parents-in-law, who are pensioners. Gocha works in construction while Khatuna runs a farm where she has a milking cow she uses to make cheese, a citrus garden and 200 nut trees. Khatuna and Gocha sell their produce in a local open market. Their total average monthly income is 700 Lari.
Khatuna is requesting a loan to buy an additional milk cow so that she can produce and sell more cheese. By expanding her business, she will be able to increase her profits and improve her family's living conditions.
