Lena is 26 years old. She lives in a small village of Kobuleti District with her family: two children (6 and 8 years old), father-in-law, daughter-in-law and nephew. The family earns their living through an agricultural business. They have 2 milking cows and produce dairy food: cheese, yogurt and curds. The family also owns a citrus garden and a plot of land, where they grow nuts, potatoes and maize. They work hard during spring and summer seasons to get a good harvest. They sell harvested products on the local open market. Total average monthly income of the family is 450 Lari.
Lena requested a loan for purchasing an additional milking cow. She will be able to produce and sell more dairy food. Thus, she wants to expand her business in order to earn a good profit. With increased profits, she will be able to reinvest in her agricultural business. As a result of the above mentioned, living conditions of the family will be improved. Lena hopes for your help and kindness.
