Siv is a resident living in Baray district, Kompong Tom province. She is 47 and married with four children, two of whom are still under her care while the other two are married already and have independent livings. Siv farms rice and beans on her own plots of farmland to produce yields for her family. Every year, Siv also does farmwork in the Preah Vihear province to increase her income because she owns around three hectares of farmland there.
As of now, Siv would like to borrow additional income through HKL to purchase two cows for farming purposes. Through this loan, Siv believes that she will be able to work out her plan and improve her business. In the future, she aims to increase her land holdings in order to increase output and earn more income for her family.
