Saroeurn is 50 years old. She is widowed and blessed with two children. She lives in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than 10 years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her children are employed. They are a motor taxi driver and a waiter in a restaurant. They earn about $5 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Saroeurn is requesting a loan of $1200 to purchase utensils to run a food stall. This money will help her acquire the security to start the new business. In the future, she would like to expand her business and build a new house as soon as possible.
