Saran is 59 years old. She is married and resides with one child in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been in the business of selling fertilizer and fuel for more than four years, earning approximately $15 each day. Her husband helps her run the business. In order to improve her family’s finances, Saran is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase more fuel and fertilizer to resell. By doing so, she would earn more profit to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her child earn a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
