Zeinab is 47 years old. She lives in a small village in Gardabani District with her family: her husband, Loseb, and a 20-year-old son. The family members are busy with agricultural business. They have four milking cows and six calves. Zeinab milks the cows twice a day and produces cheese. Part of the dairy food is used by the family and the rest is sold on the local open market. Along with agricultural business, Zeinab is also busy with teaching. She is a teacher in the local school and gets a salary.
Zeinab requested a loan for repairing and expanding the cattle shed because the existing one is very old. She plans to expand the dairy farm through adding additional cows, but the existing cattle shed doesn’t allow her to implement this plan. After the building is expanded and repaired, Zeinab will purchase calves and raise them. After a year she will be able to double production and sales of cheese, and the income of the family will significantly increase. As a result of the above-mentioned, all members of the family will be able to improve their living conditions.
