Soeury is 29 years old. She is married and lives with her two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries and meat for more than three years, earning approximately $15 each day. Her husband is a tuk tuk (motorized rickshaw) taxi driver who earns about $10 daily.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Soeury is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase groceries to sell. By doing so, she would earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
