Hoeurn is 62 years old. She is married and lives with her five children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice for more than five years, earning about $2 per day. Her husband runs a taxi service. He earns about $3 daily. Four of her children are construction workers who earn about $12 each day.
Hoeurn is requesting a loan of $600 to purchase cattle to use for tilling her farmland. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home and to rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for her family.
