For the past six years, Doña Margarita has been selling basic household products and groceries such as rice, beans, sugar, lard, cornmeal, chicken, medicines, and cleaning products. She started out selling food on a small scale, but as time passed, she invested her earnings in the growth of her business.
Margarita is currently requesting a loan in the amount of 20,000 HNL to restock her store and meet the food demands of her customers. She hopes to see an improvement in her earnings, so for this reason, she continues to work every day.
