Él es motorista de profesión; pero también se dedica al oficio de albañilería; lo aprendió desde hace 21 años con un amigo que le enseño, debido a que juntos construían casas para ganar dinero y poder subsistir. Posteriormente, don Edgar se fue perfeccionando en la construcción y hoy en día él realiza los contratos con la ayuda de un grupo de personas.
