Tomas
Tomás is 39 years old. Since he was very young he has worked as a merchant, selling dairy products in his sister's company. It was going well for them there until his sister passed away and he went to the city to live with his brother. From him he learned the trade of electrician and maintenance, which he started to work in. He married and returned to the city of Barranquilla where he now works in a hotel in town as chief of maintenance. Six years ago, in order to increase his family income, he decided to invest his savings in buying foreign brands of shoes that come to him from the neighboring country of Panamá. he sells them to a select group of customers. Tomás' wife is also a very capable entrepreneur who sells clothing and perfume to help the household income. They both work in order to provide for their 14 year old son and give him everything he needs for his wellbeing and for future professional success. At present, Tomás needs working capital to make purchases in larger quantities of shoes such as Addidas, Nike, and Reebok, which he has orders for. He wants to respond quickly and also buy in larger quantities to reduce the sales cost, thus resulting in competitive prices to gain more customers. This way he will increase his sales and little by little make his dream come true of having a vehicle and expanding his business.

Tomás de 39 años de edad, se dedicó desde muy joven a la actividad comercial, vendiendo productos lácteos en compañía de su hermana, allí les fue bien hasta que ella falleció y se fue a vivir a otra ciudad con su hermano, de quien aprendió el oficio de electricidad y mantenimiento, que a futuro empezó a desempeñar, cuando contrajo matrimonio al regresar a la ciudad de Barranquilla, donde actualmente trabaja en un hotel de la ciudad, como jefe de mantenimiento y desde hace 6 años con el fin de aumentar sus ingresos familiares, decidió invertir sus ahorros en la compra de calzado de marcas extranjeras, que le traen desde el vecino país de Panamá y que el vende a crédito a una clientela selecta. La esposa de Tomás es también una mujer de mucha capacidad emprendedora y se dedica al comercio de ropa y perfumería, apoyando la gestión de su hogar; ambos trabajan con el fin de proveer a su hijo de 14 años, todo lo necesario para lograr el bienestar actual y la posibilidad de éxito profesional futuro. En la actualidad Tomás requiere capital de trabajo, para hacer compras en mayor volumen de calzado Adidas, Nike, Reebok en el marco de pedidos que le han hecho y a los cuales desea responder de manera oportuna y también porque comprando en mayor cantidad, reduce los costos de ventas y esto lo traducirá en precios competitivos, para ganar aun mas clientes, pues es con ellos que conseguirá el aumento de sus ventas y poco a poco logrará cumplir su sueño de tener un vehículo y ampliar su negocio.
