Mzevinar is 47 years old. She lives in a small village of Lanchkhuti District with her husband, Avtandil. They earn their living through agriculture. They have 18 beehives with bee colonies. They produce honey and sell it in nearby villages. Mzevinar and Avtandil also have a citrus garden and a plot of land where they grow maize and nuts. They work hard on their plot during the spring and summer seasons to get a good harvest. They sell their harvested products in the local open market. The total average monthly income of the family is 500 Lari.
Mzevinar requested a loan to purchase feed for the bees. Mzevinar and Avtandil will be able to produce and sell more honey. This will increase the income of the family. With increased income they will be able to reinvest in the family agricultural business in order to expand it and make it more profitable.
