Chanthy is 29 years old. She is married and blessed with two children in Kandal Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than ten years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is employed in a pig farm and earns about $4 daily. In order to improve her family’s finances, Chanthy is requesting a loan of $700 to purchase insecticide, fertilizer and seeds to use in cultivating vegetables. This money will help her run additional business and earn more money to financially support the family. In the future, she would like to breed pigs and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more convenient for her family.
