Daniel
Daniel is a resident and farmer in the Nyamira area of South Rift Kenya where he lives with his wife and two children who are seven and one year old. He has seven years in active farming and sells the major part of his farm produce to the local market with the main produce being vegetables, milk, tea and tomatoes. He also operates a barbershop to supplement his farming income.

Daniel has requested a loan of 50,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to expand his farming business by buying poultry birds at 30,000 KES and expanding his dairy unit at a cost of 20,000 KES. He adds that farming income will help him educate his children. He plans to establish a cereals milling business in the future in the local market.

Daniel, however, points out that stealing of farm produce on the farm before harvesting is a major upset.
