Soch is 54 years old. She is married and blessed with two children. They live in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. Soch has been involved in growing rice and worked as a cleaner for more than seven years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about $8 daily.
Soch is requesting a loan of $700 to purchase seeds and fertilizer to use for cultivating rice. In the future, she would like to run a business producing concrete chairs and tables to sell and to help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for her family.
