Rosa belongs to "Unión Progresista" communal bank.
She lives in a community belonging to the parish of Santa Ana; The community's weather is cold, It is located 18km from the city of Cuenca. From the centre of this parish one can see a big portion of the city of Cuenca. Their main economic activities are agriculture, animal breeding and commerce, many people work in the city in different economic activities.

Rosa is 29, married and in her married life she has conceived 3 children who are 12, 10 and 8 years old. Her oldest child goes to high school and the two youngest go to a little primary school from the town. Her husband works in construction as a bricklayer. They live in their own house.

Rosa does all the chores in her house and works as a maid, she's been a maid for the last 5 years. She works Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm, the rest of her time she breeds farm animals like cattle and pigs. She also dabbles in agriculture and what she reaps is for the consumption of her homestead.

This is her third loan with the communal bank and she is going to invest it in the purchase of fertiliser for her paddocks and in cattle.

La Señora Rosa es socia del banco comunal Unión Progresista, vive por una comunidad perteneciente a la parroquia de Santa Ana, este lugar es de clima frió, se encuentra a 18 km., de la ciudad de Cuenca, desde el centro de esta parroquia se puede observar gran parte de la ciudad de Cuenca. Su principal economía es la agricultura, cría de animales y el comercio, muchos laboran en la ciudad en diferentes actividades económicas.

La Señora Rosa tiene 29 años, es casada y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 3 hijos de 12, 10 y 8 años de edad, su primer hijo estudia en el colegio y sus dos últimos hijos en una escuelita de la localidad. Su esposo labora en el área de la construcción como albañil, la casa en la que vive es de su propiedad.

Nuestra socia se dedica a los quehaceres de su hogar y trabaja como empleada domestica desde hace 5 años, trabaja de lunes a viernes de 9 de la mañana hasta las 3 de la tarde. El resto de su tiempo se dedica a la cría de animales como ganado y cerdos, también se dedica a la agricultura y lo que cosecha es para el consumo de su casa.

Este es el tercer crédito que realiza en el banco comunal y lo va a invertir en la compra de abono para sus potreros y en ganado.

Su meta es seguir creciendo en el negocio de cría de ganado.
