Thongny, 33, is married and lives with her husband in the Kampong Chhnang province. She has been selling clothes in Phnom Penh city since 2010, and is able to make about US$8 per day. Her husband is a motor-taxi driver, making approximately US$18 in revenue a day. This couple has two school-aged children. Seang Thongny would like to take out a loan of US$1500 to purchase land as an investment. This land will sell for a profit when the price goes up.
