A loan of $3,000 helped to pay for young pigs, chickens, and feed.

Azniv's story

Azniv is involved in agriculture. Together with her family, she runs a farm, where they raise livestock and cultivate land. Azniv cultivates wheat. She also runs an orchard, where she grows apricot, peach, grape, and grenade fruit trees. Azniv also has a barn, where she bred pigs a few years ago, but had to sell them. Now Azniv would like to start pig breeding again, so she has applied for this loan to purchase young pigs. Azniv also plans to purchase chickens and forage to feed the livestock.

Azniv lives with her husband, son and daughter. She works at the local school as a teacher, but her salary is too low to cover the family's costs, and they get the main part of their income from selling the harvest from the farm to local traders. The development of her agriculture business will allow Azniv to get more income and insure more prosperous living conditions for her family.
