Nanuli is 29 years old. She is married and lives in a small village of Sagarejo district with her family: her husband Shalva and their 7-year-old daughter, who studies in the village school. Shalva works as a private security guard and gets a salary. Nanuli has a milking cow; she milks it twice in a day and sells the milk in nearby villages. She also has a vineyard; she and Shalva produce wine in the autumn. They sell grapes and wine on the local market. The family's average monthly income is 700 Lari.
Nanuli requested a loan for purchasing three calves. She wants to raise them. After they are grown, Nanuli will be able to increase cheese production. She will sell more milk and cheese, and the family will get additional income. With increased income, she will be able to improve her family's living conditions.
