Saron is 30 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than a year, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband (who joins her in the picture) is employed in a bakery shop and earns about $5 each day. Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Saron is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to build a new house and help her children earn bachelors degrees.
