Maria
María requests the loan in order to move forward with the improvements she's been doing in her home. Right now the purpose is to continue these improvements, but she will lay ceramic tiles on the whole interior of the house as well as the porch. She also wishes to finish plastering and painting the front of her house. She wants to see her house finished as soon as possible, and that's the reason why she wants to build and maintain it as long as she's given the help she so requests and hopes for.
María is a dressmaker and works at a store where they manufacture and sell dresses for brides, "quinceañeras" (a girl's fifteenth birthday), etc. She's been working for this company for over eight years. Her husband has worked for many years in the administrative department of a private school. Aside from her job, María also provides dressmaking services on her own. With both of their income sources, they pay for the family's expenses and for schooling expenses for their son, who still lives with them.
