Elias is a single, 32-year-old Lebanese man living with his parents and three siblings who all work. With his family’s help, Elias has been able to manage his expenses and live a proper life. Despite all the difficulties that he has faced, Elias has been brave and unafraid to take on his own the whole family responsibilities.
Elias started to work as a painter in 2000, and he still works as a painter. He works on a free-lance basis and is considered friendly, especially by his loyal customers. He is an expert in his field and knows very well how to deal with his clients. Today, he is requesting to a loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase additional painting tools for his business in order to be able to handle his new projects. This Kiva loan will open a new door for him to take on bigger projects and increase his productivity by 30%. In the future, he plans to open his own painting shop.
