On is 30 years old. He is married and resides with three children in Battambang Province, Cambodia. He has been involved in growing rice and fattening up animals for more than ten years. In addition, he is a teacher. He earns approximately $5 each day. His wife runs the business of purchasing junk and materials to resell. She earns about $7 daily.
Due to the difficulty in his family’s transportation, On is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will enable him to use the saved money on his transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, he would like to expand his business and help his children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, he hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
