Lyn is a married woman who lives with her husband and one child in Kisauni, Mombasa, Kenya. Her child studies at the lower primary school.
Using her business skills, Lyn started a garment retail business in 2010. Now her business activity and income are stable and improving steadily. Lyn is a diligent woman who says, "I would like to expand my business activities by purchasing supplies in large quantities." The total amount she is requesting is 30,000 KES to buy more garments and install piped water in her family house.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
