Hong is 31 years old, married, and has one child. He lives in Kampot Province, Cambodia. He has been selling ice cream for more than six years, earning approximately $6 a day. His wife is involved in cultivating rice and fattening up animals, earning about $2 a day. His son is employed in a garment factory, earning about $3 a day.
In order to improve his family’s finances, Hong is requesting a loan of $1,000, which he will use to purchase a motorbike and a trailer for carrying ice cream to sell. This purchase will help him carry ice cream in larger amounts and earn more money to support the family. In the future, he would like to expand his business and rebuild his present house to make it more convenient for his family.
