The communal bank “15 DE JUNIO” [June 15th] will begin its first loan cycle with Pro Mujer as part of Centro Focal de Alto Lima. It has nine members and is directed by a board whose president is Antonia. The association members' businesses vary and among them are: making shoes and hats, selling construction materials, sewing fleece jackets, making suits, weaving wool blankets, running a grocery store, and weaving leggings.

Antonia says that this is her first membership with a Pro Mujer communal bank; she joined at the invitation of a sponsor who came to her house. She now sells construction materials, a business she began with her husband's support. He said that opening the business would help them generate income and take care for the children.

This loan will be used to buy cement from the factory to resell in her shop. This work allows her to generate income to help her family as best she can as she is married and has three children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responded that she likes the clinic and life insurance.

La A.C. “15 DE JUNIO” iniciará el ciclo primer en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Alto Lima, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Antonia es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: artesanía en zapatos y sombreros, venta de material de construcción, costura de chamarras polar, elaboración de trajes, tejedora de mantas de lana, tienda de abarrotes, tejedora de polainas.

La señora Antonia, indica que es la primera vez que integra una Banca Comunal en Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una promotora que fue a su domicilio. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio venta de material de construcción, ella cuenta que este negocio lo emprendió por el apoyo de su esposo, quien le comentó que la apertura de la tienda apoyaría a generar dinero y podía cuidad a sus hijos.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el incremento de capital (compra de cemento) mismo que comprará de la fabrica y posteriormente venderlo en su espacio de comercialización todos los días. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar en lo posible a su familia, pues ella es casada y tiene tres hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud y el seguro de vida.
