Sam Art is 51 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She is a construction worker and earns about $4 per day. Her husband (who is joining her in the picture) is construction foreman who earns about $7 each day. Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Sam Art is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. In addition, a part of this money will be used to purchase construction tools for her husband to use in his construction work. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more convenient for her family.
