The committee is named "Mujeres Unidas," or "United Women," because the women that are a part of this group work together and always help one another to do better and to succeed. Thanks to their work they are already in the 5th cycle of the program for enterprising women. The director is Mrs. Zunilda, and is a member of the group, she has a store that is well stocked from which members of her community are supplied. She says she began with a small business, but now thanks to effort and dedication, she has been able to grow. Today, she is asking for a loan from Kiva and the Paraguayan foundation to purchase drinks, sugar, herbs, meat and more supplies of basic necessity, with which she wants to stock her store.

Hoy solicita la ayuda de Kiva y fundación paraguaya para la compra de bebidas, azúcar, yerba, carne y demás insumos de primera necesidad, con lo cual desea poder surtir su negocio.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
