Sokheam is 54 years old. She is married and blessed with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than 10 years, earning approximately $4 per day. Her husband is employed in the factory. He earns about $9 per day.
In order to improve her business, Sokheam is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a walking tractor to use for tilling her farmland. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelor degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
