Zoraida is 22 and lives in the city of Pisco,

Pisco is known for having a warm and friendly weather, in this city agriculture is common, specially they grow cotton, corn and others. There is also fishing and tourism in Pisco because there are places like the Ballestas Islands and the "Candelabro de Paracas" [Paracas' chandelier] that are visited by a big amount of tourists all year round.

On her free time, Zoraida enjoys sports, she likes to play volleyball with her neighbours and friends from where she lives. From time to time she likes to have one of her favourite dishes: "Cau Cau" which she thinks it's delicious.

Due to her parents not having many economic resources Zoraida was only able to study until her fifth year of secondary school, but she would had loved to go to university and do Business Management.

With lots of enthusiasm and dedication Zoraida works in her food and groceries business, she works 10 hours a day and can serve up to 30 customers a day. With the fruits of her work she can support her family's expenses, that is why she works with such good will and she thinks that is why her business is blooming, because she works hard and she is nice with her customers.

Zoraida is very grateful to the lenders of Kiva because with the help they have given her she will be able to buy two food counters to display her dishes and the products she sells in her shop, this way she will be able to have a better kept and above all very clean business so her customers will shop with more confidence and thus improve her profits so she can keep working towards making her big dream come true: to study Business Management

Zoraida tiene 22 años de edad, vive en la ciudad de Pisco, ciudad que se caracteriza por tener un clima cálido y acogedor, en esta ciudad se desarrolla la agricultura en especial el cultivo de algodón, maíz, entre otros, asimismo se desarrolla la pesca y también el turismo ya que cuenta con las Islas Ballestas y el candelabro de Paracas los cuales son visitados por infinidad de turistas en todo el año. Zoraida en sus tiempo libres disfruta de hacer deporte sobre todo juega vóley con sus vecinas y amigas de su barrio y en ocasiones le encanta comer uno de sus platillos favoritos el cual es el riquísimo “cau Cau”. Debido a que sus padres no tenían muchos recursos económicos ella solo pudo estudiar hasta el quinto grado de educación secundaria, pero le hubiera gustado estudiar la carrera de administración de empresas.

Con mucho entusiasmo y dedicación Zoraida trabaja en su negocio de venta de comida y abarrotes, ella trabaja alrededor de 10 horas al día y puede atender hasta 30 clientes diariamente, con el fruto de su trabajo ella puede apoyar con los gastos de su familia por ello trabaja con muchas ganas y por ello ella cree que le va bien en su negocio porque se esfuerza mucho y porque es amable con los clientes.

Zoraida está muy agradecida con los prestatarios Kiva ya que gracias a la ayuda que le han brindado ella podrá comprar 2 mostradores para poder exhibir sus platillos y productos que ofrece en su negocio, de esta manera ella podrá tener un negocio más ordenado y sobre todo con mucha limpieza para que los clientes tengan más confianza y con ello mejorar sus ingresos, lo que le permitirá seguir trabajando para hacer realidad su gran sueño:” Estudiar la carrera de Administración”.
