On is 49 years old. She is married and resides with five children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She has been involved in growing rice and fattening up pigs for more than twenty years, earning approximately $4 per day. Her husband is a tax imposer (one who imposes tax on merchants). He earns about $2 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, On is requesting a loan of $750 to purchase farmland to use for cultivating agricultural crops. By doing so, she would earn more income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn Bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family.
