Maria tiene una actividad que le genera los ingresos necesarios para los gastos del hogar. Ella se dedica a la agricultura específicamente al cultivo de papa. Desde muy pequeña ha trabajado con su familia, hace 5 años ha logrado establecer su propia parcela. Donde ella vive es una zona apta para la agricultura, en este caso de papa. Le dedica la mayor parte de su tiempo y le apoya su familia con los gastos en el hogar. Esta producción la vende en el mercado local.
Es su primer préstamo de 10,000 lempiras que solicita y lo va invertir en insumos para la siembra de papas, compra de fertilizante y fungicida, con el propósito de mejorar el nivel de producción.
Su meta es obteniendo la ayuda que Odef le ha brindado y que le ha ayudado a darle una buena asistencia a los cultivos y así mejorar el nivel de vida de su familia.
