Sylvie’s concern, however, is that she will not be able to meet the needs of these customers, as her capital is so low. This means she has to buy products on a retail basis to meet one wave of demand, before waiting to be paid before she is able to meet the needs of more customers. She therefore needs a loan to help her buy bulk material to use for her work, allowing her to meet all her customers’ needs and increase her income. She will save part of this profit to open a store over time, and the other part of her profits will help her to provide for her family on a daily basis.
