Thy is 31 years old and lives in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She is married and has been blessed with three children. She has been working in an APSARA preservation unit for more than seven years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband is a driver who earns about $4 per day. Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Thy is requesting a loan of $800 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money she saves on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to run a souvenir shop to earn additional income and help her children earn their bachelor’s degrees.
