Rabiya is 54 years old, she has raised four children. Considering the low employment rate on the local labor market her sons are now working in Russia. Since 2000 Rabiya has been involved in animal husbandry, a business which became the main source of income for her family which she started with an amount of 30,000 som (KGS). Because of her hard work Rabiya now has one milk cow, two heifers and one bull as well as the sale of milk and dairy products to the local dairy factory which brings around 6,000 som a month.
